She was a Retired School Secretary at LaJolla Elementary School, Salinas.
Daisy was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church; California School Employees Association; Fellowship of Christian Cowboys; Cowboy Worship Committee for the Salinas Rodeo; and Meals on Wheels.
She was preceded death by: Husband, Albert Ernest Harner in 2014. Daisy met the love of her life, Al, at a dance in Carmel Valley and they spent the next 60 years together. Also preceding her, were her parents, Leo & Dorothy Vasquez, sister Marietta Stai.
She is survived by her Daughter, Connie Jean Harner of King City, son, Robert Leo Harner of Salinas; grandson, Steven Albert Harner of Salinas; sisters, Virginia Morrisoli, brother in law, David (Jeannie) Harner, sister in law, Linda (Rudy) Fernandez, sister in law, Bonnie (Richard) Headapold and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 315 Alvin Dr., Salinas, CA. 93906.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Central Coast Veteran's Cemetery.
