Obituary

Richard G. Means, age 60, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2008 in Salinas. He was born on February 2, 1947 in Watsonville.

Richard was a farm equipment mechanic and parts technician at Coastal Tractor for 29 years.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of Buena Vista Grange, Northern California Highland Dance Association, Fugawee Car Club and Spring 4-H Club.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold W. Means in 1992.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mary Means; daughters, Sarah Jennifer and Debbie Means; mother, Doris Means; brother, Keith Means; sisters, Shirley Means and Barbara Perry; seven nieces and eight nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 West San Luis Street, Salinas, CA 93901

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2008 at Struve and Laporte Funeral Chapel.

Burial will take place at Pioneer Cemetery in Watsonville, CA.
