Born in Salinas, California
Resided in Salinas, California
Before a cancerous brain tumor changed her life in 1995, Nichole was a champion baton twirler traveling the nation winning competition after competition. Her coach, Linda Aguilar, had a great influence on the young woman she became. She attended Natividad and El Gabilan Elementary Schools, Harden Middle School and graduated from North Salinas High School in 1998. She served as Class President all four years. She played volleyball, field hockey and swam for the Vikings. She remained an avid Lady Viking Basketball team “cheerleader” until her accident and was a huge Coach Jackson fan! After high school, Nichole attended Hartnell College, CSUMB and earned an Agriculture Communications degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
Nichole was very active around the community. She loved 4-H and was a nine year member of the Natividad 4-H Club. She served as a Monterey County 4-H All Star and a California State 4-H Diamond Star. After college, she became a 4-H leader. She was involved in other community organizations such as Relay for Life, California Women in Agriculture, Young Farmers and Ranchers and the Gonzales Young Farmers. Nichole loved to help others; it was her passion. She was a wonderful caretaker to both of her grandmothers taking them to their appointments, cooking and baking with them and going out to eat with them. Her greatest loves were her family, her grandmothers and her friends. Her time with them was memorable.
Nichole loved sports and she LOVED her teams! She followed the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, was an avid Lakers fans, and supported both the San Francisco Giants and 49’ers! And she had the “gear” to wear when those teams played!!
Nichole will be remembered for her warm heart, her smile that could light up a room, and her generous spirit. She always had a story to tell and a great sense of humor. Those who knew her had a friend for life!
On March 29, 2018, Nichole was involved in a single-car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury that would eventually take her life. During her twenty one month hospitalization, Nichole was courageous in her battle and fought until her last breath.
Nichole is survived by her parents, Chuck and Margaret Noroian, her brother Nick (Ashlee) Noroian, her sister Noel Noroian, her uncle Stan Piffero, her niece Maelynn Noroian, several uncles, aunts and cousins and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sergio and Nancy Piffero and her paternal grandparents, Charlie and Hosana Noroian.
