Resided in Salinas, California
Jesse worked at D’Arrigo California for almost 25 years, most recently as Assistant Supervisor of Facilities where he had countless friends. His friendships included the latest hire, all the way to his cherished friend, Andy, co-founder of D’Arrigo California. He was very proud of the projects he was entrusted to work with, such as managing the solar power panels and the prickly pear facility. While Jesse took his job very seriously, he sincerely took the time to build relationships. Frequently boasting about the many friendships he developed with his D’Arrigo family. At many company potlucks, were you lucky enough to enjoy his Thanksgiving ham and the famous family jello dessert that he shared?
Jesse was an incredibly loyal son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, godfather, and friend who was loved by many. He comes from a large family where he was described by all as being the most positive and compassionate member and never taking moments for granted. Jesse would travel any distance to attend family birthdays, baptisms, graduations, weddings, youth sporting events, etc. He was everyone’s number one fan.
Jesse greeted everyone with a hug, slug, or ‘Hey! How’s it going?” He mentored nieces and nephews on how to throw a football, shoot a basket or catch a baseball. He veraciously recruited fans for his favorite teams which included the 49ers, Warriors and Giants. He also coached basketball at North Monterey County High School. He had many players that “looked up” to him. Jesse had a deep, special bond with his cousins and their children, attending many of their sporting events and milestones. He made it a point to attend ALL family events. One cannot describe the impact Jesse had on every person he met. His circle of friends was far, wide and sincere. His friendships were multigenerational and had more of an impact than anybody realized. Age was no barrier. He was equally loved by the elderly, his peers and children alike.
It gives us comfort to know that he is reunited with his dearly beloved mother, Silvina, whom he loved with every ounce of his soul. He joyfully expressed his love for her daily in countless ways.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Silvina Tiscareño and brother-in-law Matthew Bancroft. He is survived by his father, Jesus Tiscareño of Salinas, CA; brother Benjamin Tiscareño (Yolanda) of Clovis, CA; sisters Maria Venturini (Jay) of Littleton, CO, Martha Vazquez (Dave) of Salinas, CA, Maria Elena Bancroft (Andrew) of San Diego, CA, Vicky Castillo (Mark) of Anaheim, CA, Veronica Tiscareño-Perez (Sam) of San Diego, CA; nephews Christopher (Hillery), Aaron (Michelle), Brian, Sean, Christian, Rene, Roman; nieces Jackie (Oscar), Brittney (Rolando), Alexis, Sarah, Maddie, Emma; great nephew and nieces Iden, Shayla, Haley, and Olivia; Many godchildren, cousins and extended family members.
His legacy will be never be forgotten. He was positive, a good listener, and was there for those in need. He had a magical way of making every moment memorable. Thank you Jesse for giving us the best of you! We will always love you.
