Jeana worked at Boeing from 1959-1961, was a proud homemaker from 1961-1970, and went back into the work force in the early 1970s when she moved back to Salinas with her three children. She trained, on the job, to be an EKG technician at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and from there continued to work in the medical field for various cardiologists.
Jeana's favorite past times included traveling both near and far-particularly to Italy to visit family, playing the piano, dancing, attending her grandchildren’s band concerts, sporting events and teaching them how to latch hook and knit, spending time at the beach with her family and friends, enjoying girls night out, and taking her dachshund, Sadie, for adventures around the neighborhood and in the car.
She is survived by her three children, Steven (Dori), John (Laurie), Susan (John), five grandchildren, Steven, Sam and Shelby Sutton and JP and Alison O'Dell, her brother John (Lorraine) Nardone and three nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sutton, in 1970, and her parents John and Carmen Nardone.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1 Railroad Ave., Spreckels, CA 93962
